Kymulga Grist Mill Park

One of Alabama's Oldest water powered grist mills.
Built in 1864, the mill is still in operation and is open for guided tours.,
Adjacent to the mill is a covered bridge built in the 1860's.

The Grist Mill is now a National Landmark Designated by the U.S. Dept. of Interior...Oct 29, 1962
Both the Mill and the Covered Bridge are on the National Historic Register.

The Park contains two miles of Nature Trails.
The Largest Cluster of WhiteOak Trees East of the Mississippi.
The State Champion Sugarberry tree.
Facilities for Family, Industry or Class Reunions.
Kitchen or Barbeque Facilities.

The Park is located on Grist Mill Road 4 Miles East of Childersburg
36 Miles South of Birmingham, 82 Miles North of Montgomery, 37 Miles Southwest of Anniston
